My portraits capture each animal’s unique personality through their expression. As an ophthalmologist, I love to focus on the eyes, which are the windows to the soul. My style is realistic, but with painterly brush strokes – I want you to know that it’s a painting, not a photograph. You will often find surprising pops of color and peeks of vibrant underpaintings in my original artwork.
