Self-taught artist and a former surgeon

As a child, my loves were drawing and horses (and drawing horses). I took a long detour away from art to become an eye surgeon and found my way back to a paintbrush after leaving clinical practice. I’m inspired by the grace, power, and beauty of horses and the genuine love and friendship of dogs.

My years performing surgery have given me an eye for detail, symmetry, and natural beauty. I marry that attention to detail with a genuine love for my subjects and a creative flair to capture their essence.
